Au Del à Du Temps runs from 12 March to 12 April.

If you’re looking to paint the town, then head down to L’Art Pur Gallery. The gallery has announced its latest exhibition, Tunisian artist Marianne Catzaras’ Au Del à Du Temps. Running from 12 March to 12 April, here’s how to get your art fix.

Au Del à Du Temps, which means beyond time in English, brings together Marianne’s artwork. The exhibition has been created in partnership with Ambassade De France En Arabie Saoudite (aka the French Embassy in Saudi Arabia), Alliance Française, Francophonie Festsival and L’Art Pur Foundation.

Marianne Catzaras is Greek and was born in Tunisia. She is a woman of many talents, as she is an artist, critic, poet and writer. Her work has been exhibited across the world including France, Germany, Greece and Italy. Plus, she has taken part in the International Meetings of Photography at Ghar El Mehl.

L’Art Pur Gallery is one of the largest galleries in Saudi Arabia, spanning 540 square metres. Created in 1999, the venue feels like a cross between a gallery and a museum. The gallery prides itself on supporting young, local artists, and provides them with a space to exhibit work. Plus, it has hosted exhibitions from famous Saudi Arabian as well as international artists.

The French Embassy is also taking part in the first-ever European food festival in Saudi Arabia. Running from 16 to 17 March, European Festival sees embassies join forces and showcase cuisine from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Germany, Netherlands and Sweden. Taking place in Al Kindi Plaza, Diplomatic Quarter, it’s a rare chance to visit one place and eat your way around Europe.

The Au Del à Du Temps exhibition opens on 12 March from 7.30pm, and is then open daily from 4pm to 10pm.
