Riyadh is home to cool cafés, and the latest to cause a stir is Kultúra. Located in Al Ghadir, it's a sleek spot to enjoy a cup of coffee. So, if you're looking for a hip hangout, here's what you need to know.
Kultúra's tagline is "where every bite tells a cultural tale". The venue boasts a smart and sophisticated industrial chic design – the piping on the ceiling may be exposed, but it is painted in colours to match the walls. The muted tones span natural colours with soft beiges and browns.
The curved mirrors help to create an illusion of more space, and state "the culture is in you". Plus, the shelves are stacked with trinkets, treasures and old-school items, from the plush to the playful. We spotted clocks, moka pots, radios and even a Gremlins toy.
Kultúra in Riyadh's menu spans hot and cold drinks. The hot beverages include an Americano, Cappuccino, Cortado, Espresso, Hot Chocolate and Spanish Latte. The cold drinks include an Iced Americano, Iced Espresso, Iced Matcha Latte and Iced Spanish Latte. However, it's the viral cloud coffees that are causing a stir with options like the iced Kultúra and iced matcha topped with a dollop of sweet cream resembling a fluffy cloud.
Kultúra in Riyadh includes beautiful baked goods, and its best to visit the counter to make your choice. Croissant options include an Almond Croissant, Butter Croissant and Chocolate Croissant. The bakery also serves Cinnamon Swirl, Choco Swirl, Hala Swirl and Kultúra Spicy Tuna. Plus, desserts include a Date Cheesecake, Melting Pot, Pecan Pudding and San Sebastian.
