AlUla Wellness Festival, Winter at Tantora and Azimuth return to Saudi Arabia.
AlUla in Saudi Arabia is fast becoming a must-visit cultural destination. The ancient city has announced the line-up for its AlUla Moments 2022, and it's set to be packed with festivals. Lots of festivals.
Azimuth is the kingdom's first musical festival – it's back and this time it's personal. The three-day festival is a celebration of music, art and food. The event includes sunrise and sunset performance in a spectacular canyon setting. Azimuth takes place on Saudi National Day weekend from 22 to 24 September, and tickets go on sale from 1 September.

AlUla Wellness Festival returns in the autumn and runs from 29 September to 16 October. Five Senses Sanctuary – a purpose-built spa, fitness and wellness retreat – will be the festival's hub. If you're in search of some zen, then this is for you, as the wellness experiences focus on the mind, body and soul.

AlUla Moments 2022 has a new festival on the block: The Ancient Kingdoms Festival, which runs from 11 to 27 November. The festival is inspired by the Arab world's ancient civilisations, and will be breaking new ground – literally. This is the first time that visitors can discover the oases of northwest Arabia, which includes Khaybar, Tayma and AlUla. History is given a modern-day upgrade, as there are cool events ranging from music to arts, and the ever-popular Hegra After Dark concerts.

AlUla Moments' Winter at Tantora is one of the most popular festivals, as it includes a collection of exciting events. Previously, the eclectic festival boasted art installations, sculpture trails, pop-up restaurants and a high-end fashion show with horses – yes, really.
Other festivals to look out for in AlUla Moments include the Dates Festival, which runs on weekends from 16 September to 8 October. Plus, AlUla's Adventure Hub has plenty of family-friendly activities including abseiling, rock climbing, via ferrata and ziplines, which are available all year round.
AlUla Moments 2022 is bringing it.
