Luxury hotel Mandarin Oriental, Muscat is opening in Oman

The brand will make its debut in the country before the end of the year.

Oman is home to luxurious resorts. Now, the Sultanate is about to get more luxurious, as Mandarin Oriental, Muscat is scheduled to open later this year. Located in Shatti Al Qurum, this will mark the brand’s debut in the country. 

Mandarin Oriental, Muscat is set to be a spectacular five-star hotel with Insta-worthy views. The hotel includes 103 rooms and 47 suites, which have been created by the French interior designer Xavier Cartron. The rooms start from 50 metres square, and visitors can choose from rooms with views of the sea and Hajar Mountains.

Mandarin Oriental, Muscat will boast five dining concepts, which cover restaurants, bars and lounges. The concepts will celebrate flavours from around the world, and suit different visitors, from families to couples. 

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Muscat is a serene spot, which has an Arabic chic décor. The spa features eight treatment rooms including a couple’s suite, and a Persian-inspired hammam. Plus, there is a 1,250 metres squared banqueting hall, and an 800 metres squared ballroom.

Muscat is welcoming exciting hotel projects. Minor Hotels is making its debut in the country with Tivoli Muscat Hotel & Residences. The hotel is scheduled to open in 2026, and will be located in Muscat Hills. Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Muscat has been created in partnership with Omran Group, and will bring a touch of Nikki’s relaxed elegance to the country. Scheduled to open in autumn 2023, it will be located in Yiti Bay.
