Live entertainment is well and truly back in the UAE with a slew of artists taking to stages across Abu Dhabi and Dubai. So, if you're a lover of live concerts these are the all-important dates for your diaries. Curtain up – here are the best concerts in the UAE.


Tyga: 10 May 2024

Emerging from the streets of Compton, California, Tyga is a rapper who has navigated the hip-hop industry with a winning combination of hustle and catchy hooks. His performance at Zero Gravity follows hot on the heels of his 2023 show in the Middle East for the Gamers8 concerts in Riyadh. The rapper, who was originally part of the Young Money collective alongside Drake, Lil’ Wayne and Nicki Minaj, rose to fame on the hit single Bedrock in 2009. In 2014, he dropped his debut album, Careless World: Rise of the Last King, featuring the Chris Brown-assisted single Loyal, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He has since worked with Nicki Minaj on Dip It, Lil Wayne on Faded, and released a collaborative album with Chris Brown titled Fan Of A Fan in 2015.

Blackstreet & Shaggy: 11 May 2024

It’s time to party like it’s 1999 because the nineties acts, Blackstreet and Shaggy, are coming to Dubai. The reggae singer and rapper Shaggy hails from Kingston, Jamaica. His hit songs include Angel, Boombastic, It Wasn’t Me and That Girl. He has collaborated with Eve, Rayvon and RikRok. The R&B group Blackstreet were founded by Chauncey “Black” Hannibal and Teddy Riley. The line-up includes Chauncey, Levi Little, Mark Middleton and Eric Williams. Famous for their mix of soul and hip-hop, their most famous song is No Diggity. The 1996 smash hit featured Dr Dre and Queen Pen. The song was at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and went on to win a Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance. Tickets to see Blackstreet and Shaggy in Dubai start from AED 199.

Martin Garrix: 11 May 2024

Dubai, get ready to party. The world-famous DJ and producer, Martin Garrix will perform as part of ATLANTIS LIVE at Atlantis The Palm on 11 May. Over the years, Martin has scored hit singles, which include AnimalsIn the Name of Love and Scared to be Lonely. He has collaborated with Bebe Rexha, Dua Lipa and Troye Sivan. He has also played at major music festivals including Coachella, Creamfields, MDLBeast and Tomorrowland. Now, Martin will be playing at Atlantis The Palm, which has a beautiful backdrop of Palm Jumeirah and the Dubai skyline.

James Blunt: 24 May 2024

James Blunt's upcoming concert at Coca-Cola Arena is part of his new album tour, Who We Used To Be. The show promises to be a journey through James Blunt’s musical evolution. Blending elements of folk, pop, and rock to create a sound that is uniquely his own, his songs capture moments of love, loss, and self-discovery with an authenticity that is both raw and compelling. James Blunt’s career has been defined by the hauntingly beautiful, chart-topping hit You’re Beautiful.

Tom Grennan: 24 May 2024

British singer and songwriter Tom Grennan is coming to Dubai. The platinum-selling star is heading to The Agenda in Dubai Media City on 24 May. In 2016, he rose to fame as a guest vocalist on the Chase and Status track, All Goes Wrong. Tom’s hit songs include Don’t Break My Heart, Let’s Go Home Together, Little Bit of Live and Noy Over Yet. He has worked with Calvin Karris, Ella Henderson and KSI. Over his career, he has received three BRIT Awards nominations.

Jason Derulo: 15 June 2024

The line-up of R&B megastars performing at Coca-Cola-Arena continues to expand, this time with news that Jason Derulo will return to Dubai. Set to perform on Saturday, 4 May, the award-winning singer is bringing his Nu King World Tour to the UAE. Since breaking through with his five-times-platinum single Whatcha Say, Derulo has sold more than 200 million records worldwide, including chart-topping hits like Talk Dirty, Wiggle and Swalla. Derulo’s upcoming concert in Dubai is not his first stint in the UAE. In fact, he’s frequented the city many times — the last time in September 2023 when he performed at Blu Dubai for his birthday. He also took to the Coca-Cola Arena stage back in 2022.

French Montana: 22 June

Hip-hop heads, we have some sweet news. French Montana is coming to Dubai. Born Karim Kharbouch, Moroccan-American rapper French Montana has released four studio albums and 25 mixtapes in a career spanning little over a decade. The 38-year-old is best known for his 2017 hit singles Unforgettable and Hurtin’ Me. Having collaborated with some of hip-hop’s biggest talents, including Cardi B, Drake, Future, Kanye West, Lil’ Wayne, Nas, Nicki Minaj and Post Malone. The “No Shopping” and "Unforgettable" rapper will be joined on the night by Turkish singer Mustafa Ceceli, Amanda Maalouf, and the popular Filipino pop group December Avenue.

Macklemore: 4 October 2024

Born Benjamin Hammond Haggerty, Macklemore is an American rapper and songwriter whose unique style and socially conscious lyrics have earned him a notoriety in the world of hip-hop. He gained widespread recognition alongside producer Ryan Lewis with their 2012 breakout single, Thrift Shop, which used quick-fire wordplay over a catchy beat. In a career spanning almost two decades, Macklemore has worked with Ed Sheeran, Idris Elba, Kesha, Lil Yachty and Martin Garrix. He will now make his Dubai debut with a performance at Coca-Cola Arena in City Walk. Get ready to return to the Good Old Days with tickets starting from AED 199 via Platinumlist.

KT Tunstall: 16 October 2024

Scottish singer and songwriter KT Tunstall is heading to Dubai. Her hit songs include Hold On, Other Side of the World, and Suddenly I See. She released her first studio album in 2004, which was Eye to the Telescope. KT Tunstall will be performing inside The Tent at Bla Bla Dubai. It’s a rare chance to watch the singer in a serene setting, which has welcomed some of the world's biggest stars.

Take That: 25 October 2024

Abu Dhabi, it’s time to Take That. The British band are heading to Etihad Park on Yas Island on Friday, 25 October 2024. The trio will perform their greatest hits in the capital, including Back For Good, Never Forget and Relight My Fair. Now, the three members — Gary, Howard and Mark — are bringing the This Life on Tour to Abu Dhabi.

Wireless Festival: November 2024

Details about Wireless Festival Middle East 2024 are limited – there are no line-up or ticket prices yet, but judging from last year’s sold-out event, which saw 25,000 music fans descend on Etihad Park in Abu Dhabi, it’s expected to be a showstopper. The festival has attracted the biggest names in the music industry, with last year’s lineup featuring Travis Scott, Roddy Ricch, M.I.A., and Young Stunners.

Green Day: 27 January 2025

American hitmakers Green Day are set to perform for the first time in the Middle East. The talented trio will perform in a purpose-built open-air stadium at Expo City Dubai, which can accommodate 30,000 people. The landmark show will see the group perform their old and new hits. The group has sold more than 75 million records worldwide and their hit songs include American Idiot, Boulevard of Broken Dreams and Wake Me Up When September Ends. Plus, Good Riddance (Time of Your Life), which is often played at the end of their concerts. Plus, they will be supported by the American rock group, The Offspring.
